Free Accessibility Check
We open your home page in a browser and run the automated WCAG 2.1 A and AA accessibility tests: colour contrast, alternative text, labels, structure, page language and more, with the elements to fix.
Free, no sign-up. We only visit the home page, as anyone would, without clicking anything.
What about website security?
The Accessibility Check looks at the home page's accessibility. The Quick Check analyses the website's security: headers, TLS, known vulnerabilities and an application scan, with a PDF report in minutes.
Discover the Quick CheckWhy it matters
Since 28 June 2025 the European Accessibility Act (EU Directive 2019/882) requires websites and apps for e-commerce, banking services, transport, e-books and electronic communications to be accessible to people with disabilities. The technical reference is the EN 301 549 standard, which points to WCAG 2.1 level AA. Microenterprises providing services (fewer than 10 employees and turnover up to EUR 2 million) are exempt.
What we check
We run the automated axe-core rules for WCAG 2.1 level A and AA on the home page, including colour contrast, image alternative text, button and link names, form labels, page language, heading structure and correct use of ARIA. For each rule not met we show the WCAG criterion, how many elements are affected and examples from the code. We also look for a link to an accessibility statement.
Limits
Automated tests only find part of the accessibility issues: they cannot judge, for example, whether alternative text is appropriate, or whether the site works well with a keyboard or a screen reader. Some checks are flagged for manual review. We only analyse the home page. A result with no issues does not certify conformance. This is not legal advice. The score uses the same scale as the Quick Check (methodology).
